The States of Water Project By: Jessica Haithcox Education 355 Fall 2013 Standard 2.P.2.1 Give examples of matter that change from a solid to a liquid and from a liquid to a solid by heating and cooling. Prompt Imagine you are transformed into a water droplet. Write a descriptive narrative telling of your travels through the three states of matter. Be sure to use key words that we’ve discussed in class. Reflection: I had a really hard time allowing myself to be comfortable doing something like a Voicethread. If you listened to the Voicethread all the way through, it is east to see the changing in tone of my voice from beginning to end. The first few slides were very boring without much personality. After doing the first few slides and playing with it a little, I really began to enjoy the experience. I would certainly use something such as a Voicethread in my classroom. It was fun and really easy after I got the hang of it. It allowed me to show my personality through reading without anyone being around. I think it would be a great way for students to present future projects. Since I want to teach younger grades, I think they would really enjoy making a Voicethread as a class and each child being allowed to read their own work. I enjoyed this experience and can't wait to share it with others.

2.P.2.1 Give examples of matter that change from a solid to a liquid and from a liquid to a solid by heating and cooling.
Prompt
Imagine you are transformed into a water droplet. Write a descriptive narrative telling of your travels through the three states of matter. Be sure to use key words that we’ve discussed in class.
Reflection:
I had a really hard time allowing myself to be comfortable doing something like a Voicethread.
